With the development of science and technology, more and more AI technologies are applied in many fields of social life, which makes us think about the relationship between AI and human beings. The advanced algorithm of AI has triggered my thinking about whether AI can acquire the "empathy" ability. Whether human beings have created another "self" in this society. In the future, how would we get along with another version of ourselves.




Design Concept



The project will reflect my position that human beings and AI will live together in harmony and learn from each other in the future. This project is intended to show the bright future between AI and human being through idealized, and abstract descriptions. I used different graphic pattern volume to represent human being, AI, social environment.




Animation  Design



This project focuses on presenting my vision of a better future for artificial intelligence and humanity in 3d animation. In this project, I think about human beings are friendly to other species; the "human emotion" is delicate and gentle. I used volumes (spheres, rounded volume and rings) to present human beings. To make the distinction easier, I use prisms to symbolize artificial intelligence, because artificial intelligence is another species created by humans, and AI is cold emotionless machine. The element of "water" will be used as a background in the project. Because the Chinese phrase called "soft as water" is used to describe the tender and delicate of human beings. And water is a important source of human life.





The prism at the beginning is rotated counterclockwise from Figure 1 to a cone in Figure 2. This idea symbolizes the process of artificial intelligence acquiring the ability of "empathy" with human beings. From Figure 1 to Figure 2, the ring is suspended in the air and rotates, but never falls, it symbolized society balanced by human and AI society.











The small balls, rounded squares and rings symbolize human beings. Using the principle of gravity, let the small ball, rounded squares and rings fall freely; I set the environment around the cone as a collision body. They have been around the subject beating state. This animation presenting the human positive optimism, friendly and empathy to life, which affect the artificial intelligence.
