Linguistic Virus
Verbal violence in childhood has a negative impact on children, especially
when these words come from our parents. Some parents have a habit of
associating insulting words with animals, these words not only hurt children
but also affect their word usage habits. In this project, I compared these
insulting words to a virus with animal features, and I designed a set of virus
files. I created 6 virus archives for asking parents paying more attention to
communication with children.
Design Concept
Based on my research on parents' verbal violence against their children, I wanted to design a set of linguistic viruses in aresource archive, comparing insulting words to viruses in my outcome. These words are related to animals. I hope that this will help parents to understand the disadvantages of verbal violence on children.
